Harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity

Your rights as a buyer are protected by EU law

To comply with EU regulations, sellers are required to inform buyers of their statutory guarantee rights by using the harmonised notice provided on this page.

When you purchase a product as a consumer, you are automatically protected by the statutory guarantee of conformity. This means that if you purchase a defective product, you have the right to exercise your legal guarantee rights against the seller without having to take any additional steps.

These rights apply to all goods sold within the European Union and are guaranteed by law.

In addition, the statutory guarantee of conformity is entirely separate from, and does not replace or limit, any additional commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer. You may therefore be entitled to both guarantees.
